In a world flooded with well-meaning advice on eating your colorful fruits and veggies and steering clear of processed junk, it's easy to get lost in the noise. Let's cut through the clutter and dive straight into what really matters.

1. The Need for a Fast and Detox

Picture this: You're embarking on a journey to transform your health - and you want fat loss fast! The secret? A fast, a detox, a strict elimination. Yes, it might sound intense, but if you're craving a quick shift in how you feel, this is where the magic happens. It's about clearing the slate and letting your body reset. And guess what, that means it's not all about the fat at the start but shedding all of the water and inflammation you've been retaining from your body experiencing something that's overwhelming or wreaking havoc on it's systems - food, stress, too much chronic exercise, too little exercise or movement at all, a broken battery charger (aka your sleep). Whatever it is, I can give you a reason that some type fast, coupled with some silence by yourself, will do wonders.

2. Nutrient Density vs. Crap Management

As your body adjusts, you lose inflammation and you are beginning to chip away at your in house stored energy, it's so important now to keep stacking up the days - continue to engrain ( ;) you primal eaters get the joke) deep within your psyche that it's not just what you're giving your body; it's also about what you're NOT giving it! Think of it as providing super building blocks (nutrients) while sparing your system from the unnecessary energy - especially not giving it crap energy at that. This dual strategy is your ticket to feeling the change both inside and out.

3. The Fat Loss Conundrum

Ever felt stuck on the scale despite your efforts? Here's the real deal: Focus on nutrient-dense foods as your primary fuel. Skip the bits of processed nonsense that sneak into your basket. It's not just about the calories; it's about your body's environment. Choose the path of happy energy close to the earth and watch the fat loss follow suit. *YES means no diet foods, low fat dairy, low calories cookies, (WHAT IS THAT?) and all other such "Skinny Girl Frankenfoods from the 2000s." We are over it and smarter than that. Our bodies are too.

Following this same analogy, if you want your body to use the energy on your hips this week, look at the environment you will be creating this week in your basket... do you have all you need and NOT what you don't :) Where is the bread or starch at? The rice or noodles? Oh yeah on me! And I want to send my body the signal this week and give it the opportunity to provide its own energy and burn old stores.

4. The Primal Food Basket vs. The Poisonous Tree

Imagine strolling down the ancestral path with a basket of colorful tubers, berries, fish, eggs, raw dairy, honey...maybe you have some wild game at the house or cattle. Now, contrast that with plucking a bag of Doritos off a tree or harvesting processed Cocoa Puffs or crackers. It's not just about avoiding non-supportive foods; it's about picturing them as what they really are – the poisonous weeds in your ancestral garden.
